ECONOMICS:
METAL-EARTH
ECONOMIC
EVOLUTION
THE 3 AGES OF THE INDUSTRIAL EVOLUTION
In the XIX C. we made Bodies
of metal in the XX C. Heads of Metal, in the XXI C. we will put them together
in robotic organisms
We
have to treat The industrial
evolution, in biological terms. What abstract economists do not understand
is the biological nature of the industrial evolution. We are creating a new
species, organic Metal. We are evolving metal species through economical
acts of work=reproduction of machines and consume= selection of the best machine
species. The Industrial Evolution shows the same biological phases of creation
that a living animal.
Any biologist can explain it. When a mother makes
a baby, she completes first the body, then the neurons, and finally she puts
them together with networks, and the baby is born. These three stages are the
same stages of the Industrial Evolution, in its creation of a new living being:
the living machine. We made first the bodies of machines, in the XIX
C., during the I industrial Evolution. Then, after the war, we made the minds
of machines. It was the II Industrial Evolution. The Phone is a metallic
ear, a Camera is a metallic eye and the Chip is a brain of metal... The 3 put
together become a metal-head. A new top predator mind, evolving much faster
than the human mind...
The bodies and minds of metal we made in the
XIX and XX Century, now are put together in all kind of robotic life, specially
in weapons.
It is the beginning of the III and last Industrial
evolution, a fractal zone of History in which we exist now, the 2000s...
Why? Because Machines are biological also in
their fight for survival, as tool-workers and weapons that compete with human
beings. And as they evolve into complete species, robotic species in the III
Industrial Evolution, their advantage over man in that competence for work and
war will be overwhelming.
The competence of brains and bodies of machines
in the Industrial Evolution
Take the case of machine-brains. Every two years
chips double in brain capacity. Men took a million years to achieve that. In
the year 2008, chips will have as many neurons as a human being, thinking million
times faster. Human brains will become obsolete. I consider that year the beginning
of the end of our species as top predators on Earth. The next American president
will have to prevent that process, or accept the consequence for our people.
Since indeed, machines do not only compete with machines. Machines also compete
with human beings.
Competition between brain and body machines not
only affects old generations of machines, but it also extinguishes animals and
human species. There is no doubt about it. Most horses were substituted by cars;
most Indian Elephants by trucks, railroads allowed the extinction of bisons.
What is impressive about the evolution of machines, and their extinction of
rival carbolife species, is the speed at what it is happening. In a mere 200
years, half the Earth's bio-mass has been destroyed. All human civilizations
that did not use machines have disappeared. In other one hundred years, 90%
of that bio-mass will be extinct. Yet Humans are also extinguished by machines.
Cars did not eliminate only horses... Their 'Top Predator=Weapon species' tanks
eliminated also human beings. Now that most life is extinct, human bodies and
brains come next asvir slam foihca.senooL ra kdnuouoy eW .moc eteptiw am hnihce
seyrevrehwW .era eol enisoht gab eelttoW .rekrra sxe ecnityb toot am-lchines...
since the beginning of the industrial evolution. A century ago, workers in Assembly-lines
were reproducing cars. Today companies use machinery, robots, and... a dwindling
quantity of human beings.
Many white collar workers are unemployed; instead
Computers work in their offices.
Top Predator Weapons
On the other hand human warriors become extinguished
by weapons, since the beginning of history. Take the case of the American Indian.
Their culture had nothing to envy to the European culture, except if we consider
their lack of machines. We had better weapons. We used them. If you follow logically
that process into the future, it is self-evident that unless humans change ideologies
and confront science, and machines, weapons will be the next top predators on
Earth...The most expensive and evolved machines are always weapons, metal species,
whose only function is to kill men. In fact you could consider a war battlefield
an ecosystem of top-predator weapons. Have you seen military drills?
Soldiers adapt to the lineal movements of weapons. We are the submissive species.
The great generals of history merely put more artillery and less soldiers. They
won all battles, like Napoleon did in Austerlitz: He placed artillery first,
against the Austrians who sent his soldiers to the front line. It was a massacre.
In Waterloo we imitated his strategy and Napoleon lost.
Machines are indeed the fundamental tool of war.
War, ever since Galilee invented the scientific method to measure the trajectory
of cannon balls, is the main occupation of scientific research.
With the arrival of computer design, scientific
weapons evolve now much faster. Each generation, weapons more than doubles their
capacity to kill humans.
Today the most evolved machines and weapons are
robots. Robotic weapons are the ultimate machine species of the third Industrial
Evolution, embedded with survival programs whose mission is to kill men, fighting
on the metal jungle.
They are becoming a potential new top predator.
That meant always in the past, The
extinction of History, the old, weaker species. MAN...
It is in that context of evolution, reproduction,
symbiotism and competence of machine and man, of the eco(nomic)system and the
Human ecosystem, where we have to explain modern history, with his enormous
degree of cruelty and destruction of human cultures and nature. Yet the process
of destruction in fact accelerates in age cycle of the Industrial Evolution.
Since only machines, not men, weapons, not soldiers, evolve and multiply their
power.
So the fractal zone of the 2000s, the transition
towards III Industrial Evolution is an extremely dangerous, maybe catastrophic
age for Nature and man at large, as new machines, robots and weapons of enormous
intelligence and power, get ready to compete again with mankind for the limited
econiches of work and war of the planet. In front of that incoming catastrophe,
man could do two things. Deny the catastrophe and adapt his systems of beliefs
to justify the process - the easiest thing to do (and then probably die in the
catastrophe). Or fight the catastrophe, and realize of the biological nature
of machines - the most difficult one since it implies to confront machines and
those who back them.
So far what men seems to do, is the easiest,
dangerous path: deny Economic Evolution and let things flow towards the catastrophe.
The 3 cycles of the Industrial Evolution.
Let us now study those cycles of the
Industrial Evolution in more detail. The evolution of machines have had
so far an amazingly simple structure, similar to the evolutionary ages of other
species:
-From 1770 to 1850 in England, we observe a 1st
cycle of The industrial evolution of Machine Bodies. The Industrial evolution
discovers the first, most simple physical machines: the engine-heart of steam,
applied to sea machines (steam boats) and land machines (railroads) of great
size.
-That cycle occurs latter, from 1810s to 1880s,
in USA and the European countries which received the machine a decades ahead,
but the parallelism of economical, political and cultural behavior is amazing
if we take into account that temporal gap.
Let us see that behavior which will be mimicked
in the next two cycles.
That steam age - the age of England, spread to
Europe and North-America - means the massive reproduction of those machines
thanks to the monopoly of creation of money (the energy of the economic ecosystem)
in stock-paper railroad companies acquired in The City.
It is in biological terms a 'biological radiation
of a top predator species that monopolize the energy of the ecosystem. And we
can trace many similarities with such biological radiations of let's say, dinosaurs
in the Jurassic, men in the Paleolithic, or cephalopods in the cambric, either
from the perspective of the dominant top predator species, or the victims of
those species which see their lives and territories destroyed by the relentless
advance of the top predator.
In an economic ecosystem money is like the light
of a carbolife ecosystem (the energy and information element that makes the
ecosystem work). So to have money, to have credit, allows you to control and
create reality. Cre(dit)ation is the fundamental power in economic ecosystems.
So when a machine and its company-mothers control credit, they become the top
predators of the economic, political and cultural ecosystems. Today that role
is played by the computer and TV industries, the main Metal-head species. In
the age of Bodies of metal,
it was played first by steam machines, then by cars and planes... till II World
war, in which those machines truly became top predators of man, consuming us
as soldiers and corpses.
That top predator credit power of company-mothers
that reproduce the best machines of each age, the most evolved energy and information
machines, is seen in the stock-market and financial systems where the energy-money
is absorbed by the top predator. In bioeconomics they are like 'the food' of
a biological species, the energy needed to reproduce yourself as a man, a machine
or a nation.... That massive cre(dit)ation (credit=creative capacity) in favor
of top predator railroads meant total power for the reproduction of railroads,
the iron industry and the symbiotic industry of weapons. While all other energy
goods for other species, notably human goods and food became scarce. Credit
means creation in a bio-economy in which the language of power is money, which
gives orders through salaries, wages, or bribes to politicians. We should talk
of 3 biological ages in the reproduction of railroads (lasting around 30 years)
similar to the biological ages of a top predator species that expands in a limited
ecosystem, controlling it. Then it destroys the rival species and finally it
saturates the ecosystem till its exhaustion. So we talk of the youth, maturity,
massive overproduction, and final saturation of the human ecosystem, with railroads.
The consequences on the rival ecosystem of History,
of human beings, of those 3 sub-ages of railroads, are well known to historians.
The mentioned scarcity of human goods, since money was used up building railroads.
The extinction of rival species - mainly horses, whose population dwindled to
1/10th during the final biological 'radiation' of railroads in the 50s. The
expansion of the iron ecosystem to the world at large, by peaceful or war processes.
The beginning of pollution and exploitation of human workers submissive to those
machines (children in iron and coal mines picking up coal-food for railroads).
In the cultural plane a curious phenomena occur.
Men are first optimistic like children with a new toy, and epic about the railroad
and the steam machines that becomes the wonder of the age. Then the railroad
acquires such political, economical power that some critiques appear. Yet railroads
control the bio-economic ecosystem and bribe politicians, and pay for artist
who love the railroad (from Whitman to Turner), imposing themselves in politics
and culture. So the machine becomes also a common reference to culture. Finally
at the end of the railroad age, the monetary and political power of railroads
becomes overwhelming. Railroad barons show the arrogance and ugly side of dictators
with total power. It is the phase of Total "Lobbyism" when the company-mothers
of the machine own the system...
The phase of Total Lobbyism or third age of overproduction
and economic saturation of a machine systematically occurs for every machine
and every Age of the Industrial Evolution. When railroads dominated the economy,
it was the guilded age of 'robber barons'. When cars and iron bodies dominated
the economy, it became the age of 'fascism', and military lobbyism that provoked
so many wars in the beginning of the XX C. Now at the end of the age of Metal-heads,
chip barons and TV barons control our political, economical and cultural system,
and those company-mothers pay lawyers, laws, politicians, or even become politicians
themselves (so Reagan an actor becomes president of the US, and Berlusconi a
TV-mogul, becomes president of Italy.)
Why that third phase of overproduction of the
machine is so negative to mankind? Why we hate historically the robber barons
and fascist leaders of the railroad and metal-body Industrial Evolutions? Why
we despise today increasingly the new 'neo-fascist' barons of the TV-chip era?
Because "Lobism" (a simplified orthography of
Lobbyism), means total power for the company-mothers that reproduce machines,
and that power comes from the human governments, elected by partially democratic
methods.
And the difference between a society governed
by company-mothers of machines, and a society governed by human politicians
elected by citizens is overwhelming.
Why? Very simple, because company-mothers only
care for the reproduction and evolution of machines, at all costs, and disregard
humans as mere consumers and workers, for those machines. While human governments
have to care for human beings, for our energy and information and welfare. So
what happens in lobbyism is that the welfare of machines and the rights of machines
matter more than human rights. And the reproduction of machines becomes the
only goal of society. Often causing a period of war, since in war machines reproduce
in greater numbers. In war machines live in paradise and men in inferno...
All this means that our 2000s, the third phase,
the Lobbyist phase of TVs and chips, is a very dangerous phase for human beings,
our rights, and our goods that as in the third phase of Railroads (robber baron's
age) or the third phase of Bodies
of metal (fascist age), become scarce, as people become poorer, companies
become richer, and politicians become military lobbyists for those company-mothers.
The Lobbyist age of machines tends to be an
age of war.
In the third phase of the machine, when the
machine has controlled a human ecosystem and its culture the people associated
to that railroad dominate all the fields of our civilization. Take the case
of America. In this 3rd age, or "Lobbyist" age of the railroad (1860s-80s),
the owners of railroad and iron companies, the robber barons, became the wealthiest
men of America. When they spent their money in culture their institutions dominated
the cultural arena (still Stanford University founded by the railroad baron
Leslie Stanford is with Chicago University - the first place to which the railroad
arrive, the most prestigious economical institutions of America). When they
spent their money in real property, they ended up owning 1 and 1/2 Californias
of land around the railroads. When they decided someone was their enemy - the
Indians on the path of the railroad - they achieved their extermination with
private armies and paid-by American soldiers. When they found a rival company-mother
- the gunboats with their cotton cargo in the south - they provoked the Secession
war and ended up controlling all trade with Southern states. When they decided
to control politics they choose their lobbyist (a lawyer employee of the Illinois
railroad company, called. Lincoln) to become president of America. When they
wanted to buy laws, they bought them, and Mr. Lincoln created the Railroad act
that gave them free land, permission to kill Indians, get credit, etc. On top
of that, Lincoln declared war to the south and gave the army to the railroad
barons that took their troops in railroads.
That is the core of the matter. The machine
can also be a weapon, which is more expensive and consumes faster in war, that
the same machine in peace. So in the age of Lobism, company-mothers and 'stockrats'
the ari-stocrats of the Industrial Evolution, decide to make war to make big
profits. Of course if people controlled democracies they could oppose to war.
But in this third age of Lobism is such the wealth of the Machine-barons that
they can bribe against common will politicians to make war. People hate war.
In the Lincolnian age, they had to be convinced to fight for the North. Now
they can be drafted to war without rights to avoid it... In a way the power
of company-mothers and lobbyists in favor of war has become institutionalized.
Problem is that precisely in the third age of the machine when it has saturated
the ecosystem and a war is needed to destroy, evolve and reproduce more machines,
is when the company-mothers have more money to spend. They have been earning
money for 80 years and now they are awash with money. So sooner or latter as
those machines keep reproducing in massive numbers and people resist their overwhelming
control of their lives, the company-mothers decide to use them in a violent
manner to keep multiplying them and destroy all human resistance to the power
of the machine. This occurs in the third age of the machine, when it has truly
saturated the World, and companies cannot keep increasing their volume of machine-reproduction,
which is parallel to the financial value of the company. Again this is obvious,
a stock-market graph is parallel to the value of the company-mother measured
in terms of sales and profits - in terms of its capacity to reproduce machines.
So people who work in companies and own companies will do anything to keep the
reproduction of machines and keep making money that grows, invented as paper-money
in stock-markets.
This is what motivates those humans attached
to the machines, to do evil, even war, just to keep growing in wealth. Problem
is stockrats are very greedy. They don't have enough with normal profits. They
want increasing profits. So they need to reproduce machines exponentially for
the value of their companies to grow exponentially in the market place. In the
3rd phase of the machine, when peaceful further growth is no possible since
no more railroad lines can be traced in the saturated geography of America,
or more cars sold to rich people, the company-mother, and their lobbyists resort
to war. And bribes accommodate culture, and politics to accept that war. In
America that war was the secession war and the Indians wars. In the age of the
car, it was II World War, tanks instead of cars...
We explained that simple railroad age in detail,
since it is much easier to understand the 3 ages of a machine, and a cycle of
80 years of industrial evolution when there was only a machine - the steam machine
- reproducing.
Let us see all those cycles of The
industrial evolution in a simple scheme. They are the age of simple Bodies
of metal (1st cycle, 1770-1848, steam machines); the age of complex bodies
of metal, 1848-1928: electric and oil machines), the age of simple minds of
metal, (1928-2008, our age); and, the age of complex metal-heads or robotics,
2008 till the extinction of mankind... if nothing changes and our politicians
(military Lobbyists), scientists and economists working for company-mothers,
keep evolving those metal-heads, integrated in machine-bodies, towards consciousness.
We are indeed in a fractal zone of history, from
2000 to 2030, the third age of metal-heads, the first age of robots, born as
weapons:
In the graph, the main 80 year phases of the
Industrial Evolution, guided by a top predator machine and its company-mothers.
They are similar to a biological radiation, in which a species is born as a
'top predator', in the case of machines a weapon, evolved and discovered in
an age of war.
Metal-species are discovered in a war period,
and used to win that war. This makes the new machine, very liked by the winning
nation, its politicians and military Lobbyists. So the machine enters a second,
peaceful age in which it reproduces and diversifies into peaceful products.
Men consume the machine and work in factories to re=produce the machine, till
it saturates the ecosystem. Then a new age of war comes for the machine, as
resistance to further reproduction confronts company-mothers and human Workers
and consumers. Company-mothers pay Military Lobbyists (war politicians)
to do their job, and a new age of war takes place...
Only at the beginning when the age of discovery
makes the machine fancy, and during the peaceful age, the machine is partially
symbiotic to man.
Yet soon after discovery, the military decide
to use the machine as a weapon. The Wright brothers leave way to the Red Baron...
During that war the new machine takes definitely
over the previous machine as top predator of the Industrial Evolution. So in
I World War the tank took over the railroad, in II WW the plane took over the
car, and in III WW probably the robot will take over the mannered machine, become
a living top predator species...
So in general there are two ages of war associated
to a machine. When there are few machines, but highly evolved in the context
of the ipoque, the new machine is used in war. The country pays for it, and
then after the war, the company-mothers who made it for the battle field will
make it for peaceful consume.
Take our age, metal-minds first were used in
I WW. Radio and telephones, spread then in a massive way. Then the radio was
used for peaceful purposes. But when the market was saturated radio became again
a tool of war to spread messages by Mussolini or Hitler. Then in II WW, the
first TVs, and radar systems were essayed in war. It came then the peaceful
age of TV reproduction. But now the market is saturated and violent TV is overwhelmingly
the choice of TV-companies. Trash TV allows to multiply without limit programs,
since all programs are bad, and zapping becomes the king...
It came then the chip, also used to calculate
atomic bombs. Then it was used commercially, and now it seems it is going to
become the fundamental machine of informative repression, and robotic creation,
of lethal weapons...
Those curves are therefore graphs of population,
associated to biological behavior, similar to the graphs of population of ecosystems
with to predators that saturate and end destroying the ecosystem and its lesser
species.
Any organic species that evolves and reproduces,
can be represented in a temporal graph of population. The species appears in
an ecosystem in which often it is a new top predator. Then it expands in great
numbers, diversifying its forms. Finally it saturates the ecosystem expelling
in a brutal way, often exterminating other rival species. At that point the
species cannot obtain easily new energy from the overcrowded ecosystem and it
stops its exponential growth and merely reproduces at the rate required to maintain
the control of the ecosystem.
Such curves of population and reproduction of
a species take in the slow world of carbolife, millennia to happen. But if we
study species which reproduce and evolve very fast, such as bacteria, the reproductive
curves are very short in time.
So happens when we study the reproduction and
evolution of the kind of species company-mothers re=produce: machines. Machines
evolve very fast, much faster than carbolife. A company-mother brings a new
generation of machines each year. And if we group machines by types of organic
species, we can observe great curves of evolution and growth of machine population
happening every 80 years...
Those 80 year ages of creation, evolution, massive
reproduction and invasion of the Earth ecosystem by a specific type of organic
machines, are the most famous cycles of abstract economists: the long Kondriatiev
waves of Economical activity. Till now they did not know what they mean. Bioeconomics
explains it perfectly. They in fact are biological graphs of the Great Industrial
Evolutions of machines. The 80 year cycle of simple metal-bodies, steam machines,
(1770s, 1850s); then electric and oil sea, land and air machines (1850s, 1930),
and finally sensorial machines, metal-heads, radios, TVs, chips (1930s, 2010s).
In this manner abstract economical graphs and
biological, evolutionary graphs beautifully match each other. The growth of
the economy, merely means the biological radiations of machines. Since each
machine has a price, the total population of machines is parallel to the economical
GNP value. The growth of the economy, relates to the phases of explosive growth,
overproduction and final saturation of the ecosystem by a certain type of machines.
There was the curve of growth and final overproduction and saturation of steam
machines. Then, new more evolved machines that substituted steam machines took
the economy into another phase of growth and final overproduction of machine-bodies,
boats, cars, tanks and planes (II World war). Then we entered the present age
of evolution, growth and market saturation of chips, computers, TVs, radios...
that has lasted already around 80 years... The age of metal-minds.
Economists call those ages of 80 years, the Kondriatiev
waves of long economical activity. They last around 80 years, which is the mean
life of a man top predator - the scientific, economic and political community,
and national culture that created the machine and made that machine the icon
of their civilization.
So England took the steam machine during his
generation as top predator world nation to its perfection. Then Germany diversified
steam machines into electric machines (Siemens engine), and oil machines, imitated
by all other Industrial countries (age of machine bodies). In the XX century
America did the same with Metal-heads, that it has evolved till the present
perfect heads of future robotics...
In our books, "Bio-history, the 3 ages of man"
and "Bio-economics, the extinction of life", we consider other aspects of that
80 year cycle - the financial, and cultural cycles, parallel to our 3 phases
of each machine. In this article we will resume now the age of Bodies
of metal, to concentrate in our age about to end - the Age of metal-heads...
The Age of metal-bodies, from 1848 to 1928
In the second cycle of the I Industrial Evolution
- the creation of bodies of metal - that spans from 1848 to 1928 in England
and Germany, from around 1870 to 1930 in other countries, bodies of machines
diversify in all environments, and evolve their 'heart-engines', from physical
engines based in steam, into chemical engines based in oil, and electric engines.
All those new species of machine-bodies reproduce in great numbers saturating
again at the end of this age the Human ecosystem... Now many 'robber barons'
and company-mothers, all of them reproducing different bodies of machines (railroads,
boats, cars, electric and oil engines for all kind of complex machines, etc.)
dominate the economic ecosystem.
Again we find the same 3 phases, till at the
end of the cycle the world is saturated with bodies of machines, and their company-mothers
are awash with money and power. The star machine is the car, and GM and Ford
in America, Mercedes and Krupp (iron, weapons), become the most powerful companies,
creating a new age of Total Lobbyism.
We are in the 1920s. The parallel age to the
2000s... It is 1921=2001. There is a crisis of overproduction of cars since
only the wealthy can use up those machines...
Today there is an overproduction of computers
since most people don't give a dot for dotcom companies... What companies of
cars do? To impose themselves to politicians, to promote military solutions
to their over production crisis. It is again an age of Total Lobism of military
Lobism, that will end in II W.W... (we will simplify the word Lobbyism often
in our texts into Lobism).
What our chip companies are doing? Investing
heavily in military solutions, star war systems, and robotics, to keep using
those chips?
What a human government would do to favor human
beings instead of machines. To switch credit and production to human goods,
limiting the rights of those chip companies to credit, since we are over-saturated
with chips, and as human beings need better food, better education...
Problem is in an age of Total Lobism, politicians
only hear money given by company-mothers who only want to reproduce and evolve
their machines. So Bush spends a fortune in star war systems and food becomes
expensive, poisoned, unhealthy, rare.
So happened in the 20s. Politicians cared only
for money given by companies, and companies ignored the suffering of mankind...
People who made car machines became over powerful.
The star of those machines was the car=tank. Ford became so powerful that he
imposes the Prohibition and changes the American constitution paying lobbyists
because he didn't like to drink. In Germany Mercedes, and Krupp that made iron,
controlled politics and chose Hitler to keep making cars and railroads, now
tanks and transports for troops and holocaust victims... As in the age of Railroad
barons culture become "Lobbyist" and submissive to the praise of new machines.
Plane pilots and car pilots become national heroes. Propaganda is massive around
the new machines. All other goods become submissive, and without credit. Hunger
is widespread, and the third world becomes just a place where to get oil, iron
and raw materials for those industries.
Today we are invaded with technological worship,
and techno-gurus in favor of computers, that downplay the dangers of robotics,
smart weapons and star wars...
Finally in the 30s, when the market is saturated,
companies saw their geometric growth going down, and paid fascist politicians
that convinced people to go to war with infantile, nationalistic ideas. Their
non-confessed aim was to help company-mothers to reproduce more of those machines,
while controlling with violence the unemployed, putting them in jails, destroying
the socialist movement that protested against the dictatorship of machines and
company-mothers, and finally provoking a war to consume unemployed with weapons
and multiply them.
The process starts in the 20s. In 1921, a first
economical crisis of those bodies of machines parallel to our 2001 crisis of
chips, and massive resistance to their growing reproduction takes place. So
the first fascist leaders appear in South-Europe, Mussolini, Primo de Rivera,
Hitler trying his first Putsch. The second big crisis in 1929 is definitive,
and then fascism (military Lobism) becomes widespread. the Republicans take
power in America. Hitler in Germany. The 30s witness the growing power of the
militaristic people who decide to keep doing weapons with bodies of machines
instead of human goods to come out of the economic crisis of reproduction. It
is the solution "guns instead of butter'. The 40s thus will see the use of those
weapons in war, as the 1860s saw the use of railroads in wars.
The dual nature of machines: peaceful and
top predator species.
Problem is that all top predator products
are dual: animetal men evolve machines through two clearly differentiated
phases: top predator weapon form, and peace form for human consume. We talk
of the trade and war age of each Top product, in which the metal-nation with
more Top predators products
will win all wars. So when the gunboat was the top predator form, England a
sea nation, would become top predator of all 'gunboat wars' in the XVII-XIX
century. Yet when the railroad or 'land gunboat' was found, speeding up land
communication, Germany and the American Union with extensive land surfaces,
would join Britain as top predators. They will use those products in the 'railroad+telegraph
wars' [1850s-70s, Secession wars, and Unification wars in America]. Again when
a new discontinuity of complexity in physical machines of war was found [mobile
railroads=cars] England, Germany and America became top predators in the Car=tank+phone
wars [I WW]. Finally Germany and America would become Tp-nations in the radio+plane=Bombers
war [II WW]...
Look at a book of history, each of those wars
coincides with a previous economical crisis of overproduction of the new inventions,
a financial crisis, a nervous crisis that starts the trilateral cycle of political,
financial, and product crisis, that cause together an age of war.
In all those cases the product of peace becomes
then a product of war: the railroad defined the victory of Germany and the North
in the 'Unification wars', and the car became the tank that won the I WW for
the English army, and the plane became the bomber that won the II WW war for
America, and so on...
Weapons are the most advanced, Top Predator Product,
summit of the economical organism. Since this is known, weapons are evolved
and wars are cre[dit]ated. So we can relate top predator nations, top predator
currencies, wars and Tp-products in the modern age:
- Gunboat, Press, Holland, Guild, Wars against
Iberian Empires, XVII C.
- Gunboats, Press, England, Pound, Wars against
Iberians, Dutch, Neolithic cultures, XVIII - XIX C.
- Railroads, Telegraphs, Great Britain-Germany-USA,
Pound, Wars against all other cultures.
- Cars=tanks, phones, Great Britain-USA, Pound,
Wars against Germany.
- Planes=Bombers, Radios-Radars Great Britain-USA,
Dollar, Wars against Germany.
- Robots, Nets, USA, Dollar, Wars against China?
It is clear in that list: A top predator nation,
has dominance in the monetary system that directs the evolution and reproduction
of machines. It also dominates the best weapon of the war. So it reproduces
those weapons and wins wars which multiply the wealth of the nation, reproducing
more money and machines, till defeating the rival nations, and establishing
a new 'level' of saturation of the ecosystem, with the over reproduced machines.
Then after the war it will keep multiplying the
weapon as a peaceful species.
We talk of the symbiosis of the political financial,
and product cycle, that causes modern history, through the biological radiation
of basic top predator species.
The age of minds of metal, from 1928 to 2008
Now comes our age. After the creation of
all kind of bodies of machines, a new age start with the creation of heads of
machines, metal-heads, in the new cycle of Industrial evolution from 1930 to
2010. Another 80 years, with 3 ages.
- A first phase when they are discovered and
reproduced in limited numbers, during I World war. Soon people become in loved
with the first metal-heads, radios and phones - the most simple ones (they are
equivalent to our ears). Soon we see their use as tools of fascism and violent
radio speeches.
- Then company-mothers make the eyes of machines
also evolved during II World war: cameras and TVs. It is the second mostly commercial
age, in which metal-heads become the main characters of our civilization. Culture
and politics adapt, and we love film stars, while TV-anchor men became more
popular than our presidents... till they become presidents themselves (Reagan).
- Finally it appears the brain of machines
the chip, and the 3rd more violent phase of the II Industrial Evolution starts.
Minds of machines become overwhelming, and they have no option but substitute
the rival species the human mind. So chips and software substitute human workers.
Digital languages substitute verbal languages. And human brains start a massive
cultural decadence. To impose themselves those machines become violent, and
TVs convince people to kill each other with their examples. While the net becomes
also violent - a place of pornographers, and angry people. Computers are applied
to weapons. To use them up, we start to have 'splendid little wars' such as
the Kosovo war, the Iraq wars. Or the provocation to China by the top predator
maker of those metal-heads, America, that becomes a sort of Germany in the 20s.
A top predator technological nation, with the best machines, and so a feeling
of having a Universal destiny, which consists in dominating all other nations
by the force... The world is however saturated by metal-heads, and so Military
'Lobism' arrives. Company-mothers of metal-heads, mass-media companies, information
companies, soon robotic companies dominate the politicians of this age. They
are mere lobbyists, TV-actors or TV-moguls such as Reagan and Berlusconi. Company-mothers
are so powerful that they can forget the rights of the people to education and
credit. Violent films and speculative money made with computers reigns supreme.
Only the right to multiply their machines and have all the credit for them,
matters. So they cut down money for human goods. Lobbyists forbid governments
to have credit (laws of deficit zero), destroying the welfare credit and energy
systems of mankind (credit to agriculture, education, health-care and the arts).
Every man has a TV as before it had a railroad ticket, but hunger is widespread
worldwide. Of course some people complain, and so a 'neo-fascist' culture
based in fiction and occultation of truths, appears. A subtle way of censorship
(you can publish but you are not distributed if you criticize computers and
mass-media) ensures the truths about bio-economics and robotics are ignored.
People who help to spread TVs, image people, models, actors and sport men became
the new heroes, as pilots were in the 20s.
We compare those 2000s with the 20s, when the
first mild fascist leaders (Berlusconi the new Mussolini, George Bush, the new
Coolidge, the American president of the 20s), came to power.
¿The 2010s (the 1930s) however as the
crisis of saturation of computers increases will se harder solutions, because
computer companies will have less profits. They will fire more workers, and
protests for lack of credit for human companies and lack of human goods will
increase. So we will have a strong 1929 crisis around 2008, as we have a mild
crisis, in 2001, similar to the 1921, first crisis of cars and railroads....
Then in the earlier 2020s big wars might happen,
as Total Military Lobism (neo-fascism) with truly evil leaders will arrive to
the world...
So we will explain in this issue those parallelisms,
and explain the processes ahead in this decade, to make clear that unless mankind
reacts and imposes the only solution to the problem of machine overproduction
('butter instead of cannons, human goods instead of lethal machines'),
a decade of Military Lobism will come, and a massive World economical crisis
will happen. Then in two decades mankind could witness III world war, the biggest
war ever witnessed, probably the last war of mankind. Since robotic weapons
will then be able to extinguish our species and take over, and complete the
creation of the Metal-earth and the extinction of the carbo-earth. The ozone
layer will become destroyed by the star war systems now essayed in America,
and sold by Mr. Bush to the Europeans. The atmosphere will be destroyed, and
only robotic weapons will be able to survive. Human food will become very scarce.
We will be fed if we are lucky with genetic food. Leukemia will spread as electromagnetic
mobiles of robotic weapons destroy our brains. Our bodies will become target
of those robotic weapons. It will be the end of the world, as the II World War
was the end of Europe massacred by bodies of machines. Now bodies and brains
of machines, robotic weapons will annihilate our species. It is not a fantasy,
a sci-fiction movie. It is science, it is theory of evolution, it is theory
of social organisms, it is bio-history, it is bio-economics, it is truth. Unless
mankind stops worshipping machines, and controls stock-markets credit to technology,
company-mothers, which care nothing for mankind, for human goods, which care
nothing for our energy, for our verbal information, for ourselves, will keep
evolving and reproducing machines till extinguishing the carbo-earth. Why? Because
they obey mathematical mandates of reproduction of machines, not of human
beings.
One thing is for sure. We will have done it.
We will be guilty of opening inferno, of creating a world to the image and resemblance
of the machine, not of man. The leaders of "neofascism" who are appearing now
in the happy 20-00s before the great tragedy unfolds, will be the men who Dante
confined to the 9th cycle of inferno: those who destroy mankind. They are coming
now. I talked about them 10 yeas ago in the first ipoque of this magazine. Nobody
believed me. Now they are closer and we can see the leg of the devil. If abstract
economists still deny bio-econmis and the cycles of history, war, culture and
politics related to the evolution of machines. If they keep pushing policies
in favor of machines and against human goods, they will condemn hand in hand
with the mad scientists that make robots, the cynical stockrats and managers
that make go(l)d, and the politicians that cover up for all of them, of the
destruction of our species. For that reason bioeconomists will keep talking.
Abstract economists can do two things. What they will probably do -forget about
it, silence that incoming tragedy, censor bioeconomists, and then receive the
payment of their idols - get killed by robots in III W.W. Or what all mankind
wishes them to do: recognize the errors of their science, convert economics
in a real, biological discipline, and rule the world as a doctor would
do: taking care of the energy/information networks of mankind, and control the
lethal germs, the lethal machines of the tree of science, to keep History, Mankind,
healthy and alive.
