What is gender, why does gender exist? Can we build a biological theory of gender, within the parameters of biohistory, able to explain the physiology and behavior of both sexes, and their historical development? Such is the purpose of this page,. A new biological Theory of sexes, that builds on the old theories, and wisdom of Eastern Philosophers and modern theories of biology and history.

We could summarize such theory with a 'scientific' sentence similar to the more poetic title of this page:
"The Universe is made of two structural elements: Spatial energy and temporal information. To survive in the Universe any species needs to feed on Spatial energy and remember cycles of Temporal Information. Males process and control better energy, vital space; females perceive and recall better temporal information. In fact, gender is an evolutionary strategy of specialization that widens the range of Energy and temporal information that a couple is able to process, increasing the overall chances of survival of an heterosexual species. As a consequence the physiological forms, character and behavior of men and women are biased by that evolutionary, Universal nature of gender: Men love energy, space; Women love temporal information.

The understanding of that sentence in its biological and historical context, explains the nature of sexes, and how gender has played a fundamental role in the evolution of history and human societies. It requires first to define clearly the two parameters of the Universe, spatial energy, and temporal information. Today there is a lot of confusion respect to those two parameters, explained with different jargons by physicists (they talk of space and time), by biologists (they talk of energy and information), by western philosophers (they talk of body and mind), and by Eastern Religions (they talk of masculine yang and feminine yin). Each of those disciplines are hardly aware they are talking about the same essential duality of the Universe.

We exist in fact in a “Sexual, Dualistic Universe”, in which species specialized in temporal information, in the creation of “form”, such as women are, and species such as men specialized in energetic space, are common, and can be differentiated by their morphology. So if we understand the essential properties of “masculine”, spatial energy, and “feminine”, temporal information, we can apply those properties to define gender, both in nature, and in the human kind. Indeed, men behave as energy species. Energy is physical, extended, mobile, lineal in shape, tends to simplify and destroy. So happens to men. Their body forms are lineal shapes of muscular strength. Their cultural roles are specialized in spatial-energy processes, from physical activities to war, and mathematical languages, useful to describe space. They are good at creating spatial forms, technological shapes, with their digital languages, in which they excel. Their brain is extended, and the motor cells are more developed than the equivalent women's cells.

On the other hand time and information is cyclical and broken in shape as clocks are. Time is implosive, quiet, spiritual, and tends to recreate form, and make things more complex. So are women are specialized in temporal information and perception. Their bodies have cyclical shapes and store enough information to succeed in genetic reproduction. Their brains specialize in verbal languages which unlike mathematical languages that describe space, are languages of time, languages that describe temporal events with verbs. Women indeed show outstanding memory, and have developed feelings further than men have.

Sexual specialization in fact goes beyond physiology into the realm of the mind, and its languages of perception. It is for that reason that men test better in spatial mathematics, and women test better in temporal words. When a woman dies she has talked on average 25% more than a man.

Gender specialization also manifests itself in gender behavior: men love energetic activities, men destroy, men love war, movement, open spaces, men are violent; women love information, and creative activities, women nurture, do not like violence, women love cycles, memories, closed spaces like homes. Women love to perceive and feel.

So we can explain character and life attitudes of both men and women according to sexual specialization and the wanting it creates for energy or information, according to your sex. Hopefully whatever sex you are, you will recognize those wantings on you, and learn “to know yourself better”. Why such specialization exists? The logic reason, is the structural reason. There are indeed only two species in the Universe, Space and Time (Energy and information in biological jargon). So there are naturally two sexes, that take advantage of the dual Universe, specializing in each parameter. In this manner a couple widens the entire capacity of the heterosexual species to understand and take advantage of the Universe. The better a combined species understand spatial energy and temporal information, the easier it will survive in the Universe. Under such harmonic vision the advantage of complementarity between sexes become obvious: “couples”, that trust and understand each other's nature, survive better than individuals of one gender. Since both together can process a wider range of energies and informations in the Universe.

An interesting outcome of that complementary nature of sexes, is the equal value that both sexes must have, even if they are different species. Since in the Universe, energy and information, of space and time, are equal parameters; and both are needed to exist. “Energy trans-forms itself constantly into information” but never dies. "Yin becomes yang, and yang becomes yin". Explain scientifically and philosophically the fact that both parameters are complementary as both sexes should be.

The former rises a question fundamental to biohistory. Why if men and women are essentially equal in power, as energy and information are in the Universe, men have dominated and abused systematically women till very recently in History. Why? What kind of cultural “aberration” against the natural laws of the Universe has made of history a system based in energy, destruction, violence, for most of its existence?

The answer is: the constant opposition between the Human ecosystem, the ecosystem of wo=men, living in harmony, evolving and nurturing the Earth, constructing a paradise to the image and resemblance of our species; and the ecosystem of top predator machines, mainly weapons, that destroy the ecosystem of life and History.

Thus the abuse of women by males is another aspect of the Paradox of History, of the process of destruction of our species by a new species, top predator metal-machines weapons. Unfortunately certain deformed males, whose character stresses the worst properties of energy, namely the capacity of energy to destroy, associate systematically with weapons, which are pure lines of “metal-energy”, from swords and arrows, to missiles and bombs. Those males, called “animetals”, carry ideologies of violence and destruction that have deformed history against the survival of our species, and destroyed or abused those creative cultures and human beings, who tried to construct a loving paradise of human goods. Part of that abuse have been their abuse of women.
